Rev. Karen W. Curry has been serving the “DMV,” particularly Ward 7 in Washington, DC, for over 35 years, primarily through the creative, caring, and community-oriented ministries of her home church, The Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church. Rev. Curry has been reaching, teaching, and inspiring individuals from students to senior citizens to live their best lives. She is thrilled to now help her neighbors in Ward 7 experience the wonderful joys and benefits of Village life.

Rev. Curry currently chairs the Mayor’s Interfaith Council and serves as Co-Convener of the Ward 7 Faith Leaders. She is also the founding Board Chair of Village on the Avenue (a DC Senior Village), Coordinator of the Ward 7 Drug-Free Community Coalition, and a Health Navigator with Choose Healthy Life.
